Started in 2011 in collaboration with the Holland Project’s Annual Forage: A Roaming Gallery, the alleyway mural at the corner of 720 Tahoe St., St. Lawrence and S. Virginia St. in MidTown Reno has evolved into an epic, annual, collaborative arts project.
Artists.
Returning to the mural project are fine and mural artists, Kelly Peyton and Kaitlin Bryson. New artists, but definitely not new to the mural scene, Erik Burke.
If you would like to commission Kelly, Kaitlin and Erik to grace your neighborhood, organization, business or home walls, please contact them directly. They would be jazzed and are super talented + pro (obviously).
About this year’s mural.
“We are going to do a commemorative portrait of a friend/neighborhood figure. There will be a Puzzle piece pattern throughout to represent the inter-connectivity of the neighborhood with a radiating field of light coming from the hands. The mural will also suggest peacefulness with the figure in a state of elated rest.”
More murals coming.
